Screen PrintingA tried and trusted method for branding apparel.Discover the reliability of screen printing, a proven method for uniform branding, a time-tested technique for exceptional results. We utilise screen printing's versatility to brand various garments like t-shirts, polos, jackets, tote bags, and aprons. Screen printing involves pressing inks through mesh screens directly onto your apparel. Multiple colours in your logo will need separate mesh screens to be setup. HOW SCREEN PRINTING WORKS Screen printing involves creating a stencil (printers call this a "screen"), and then using that stencil to apply layers of ink on the printing surface. Each colour is applied using a different stencil, one at a time, combined to achieve the final look. As indicated, items printed with multiple colours in the design require one screen for each colour, hence there are set up fees per colour/screen. THINGS TO REMEMBER Ideal for larger orders over 25 items. Ideal for designs that have a sizeable print area. Suitable for branding pockets or seams. Less durable than embroidery—consider embroidery for regular wear. Colour combinations are limited, typically one to six colours. Best suited for flat surfaces; not applicable to curved areas. |
